Technically speaking, I'm a self-taught artist and designer. I think of myself as being somewhat like an inventor, driven by passion. My artwork centers around three primary interior design techniques:
Faux Painting, as would be applied to walls.
Decoupageuses imagery, often found in my collection of antique books, electronically reproduced, printed on hand-dyed paper and applied to various mediums.
Plaster Mache Sculpture uses plastering/sculpting materials, cured and faux painted.
Wood is the primary material used as the foundation for my art. Occasionally I like to incorporate everyday objects such as hardware, old watch parts, silk flowers or buttons.
